Rumney Learning Centre

Rumney Learning Centre has recently been established to provide out of hours learning opportunities for pupils and the community.

It has already run several successful courses and is heavily involved in developing and funding study support initiatives at Rumney High School and its main feeder Primary Schools.

RLC is looking forward to becoming a key member of the local community in the future as it develops the educational opportunities that satisfy and enrich our local people.

Year 10 Art Workshop at Llanover Hall

Year 10 pupils studying on the GCSE Art course recently visited Llanover Hall Arts Centre for a day of life drawing. The art workshop was funded by the Rumney Learning Centre to enable our pupils to experience tuition from professional artists in an art environment beyond the school. The visit was an unqualified success with the pupil's drawing technique and their course work portfolios being strengthened by the experience.
